rebuilt my sled put in new single ring pistons and low compression head. after putting it all back together i started it and it ran for a few seconds then died and wouldnt start again. tried switching plugs and got one big bang and could hear the turbo spinning after but that was it. started checking and found a piece of zip tie in between the head cover and head and a small coolant leak. fixed it and still no run. had put new fuel filter on and switched back but that wasnt it either. am i missing something? when it ran the afr was off the top. sounds funny when you pull it over and is harder to pull now. pull the plugs and it spins easy. do i need to do anything different for low compression head? give me some ideas please i would like to get this running again tomorrow

Could you have loaded the lower case with coolant? Pull pipe , pull one plug and at time and rip the cord violantly over and over...coolant spewing out?

try shutting your ignition shwitch and kill switch off..pull the sled over a 1/2 dozen times..then turn on the ignition and kill switches again and see if it doesnt fire right up...if the capacitor looses charge this is the only way I know of to recharge it.....

lose any o-rings on an injector? I power up the system with a 12v battery which cycles the fuel and charges up the cap.

i charged the pump and tried it and nothing. if i put in a new set of plugs i get the couple seconds of firing then done. sounds like its knocking like a son of a gun. i will pull the pipe and try that. all the o- rings are there as fas as i know. i was careful not to lose any but guess i cant guarantee that nothing happend

the part that worries me is that its pretty hard to pull over. would expect it to be easier with a low compression head

While you have the pipe off check your rings. I had a ring break once and it did exactly what your sled is doing hard starting, would backfire etc. Even pulled hard with the plugs in. I think it pulled hard without the plugs too but it just didn't seem like it in comparison.
