Halfway-Cornucopia Lodge!!!

Family just spent 4 nights at the resort.
Bill and Peggy are the best hosts in the world.
Woke up to a great breakfast and had a sack lunch waiting for us to take riding with us. When we returned for the evening we had a 5 course dinner.
Kids just loved the part of riding into the lodge and cabins.
Will be back for sure.
Lots of powder to ride in right from the cabin.

Will post pics when we return home from our 2 week vacation.

Hmm... Interesting, hes always an *** to us. We'd like to try it out but every time were in the area hes chasing us and using obsene language!

Not a good way to attract business... try a different approach Bill!

Really were you up just on your own cruising around the cabins or something why would he be like that, I have stayed up there quite a bit and tried to send a lot of business his way and always found them awesome people to work with on trips and stay, something must have happened?

Bill believes he owns eastfork and all access points, winter and summer! Seems to me if you were in search of customers you wouldnt chew people out who know the area and legal access routes.

Stay on the north pine side mr. mtn guide, well enjoy eastfork access and keep our business at stockmans!

A few friends and I stayed there last year and they were sure good to us!!!

They were great to us

Spent 5 days and 4 nights. Always positive. Gave the kids christmas gifts before we left for Boise to visit relatives.

I think as long as you're staying there or potentialy staying there he's great, but we drove through there by accident when we first started riding that area and he freaked out on us...not sure what that was about, but it did kinda leave a bad taste in our mouths, so we stear clear of that place.

Smashcat you probably hit it right, he may have had problems in the past and now takes it out on anybody he doesnt know cruising around even though they might be just lost,that is too bad

I would imagine that's all it is. The place sure is nice though. I've got friends that have stayed there and it ended up being a great time for them.
For the money though, the White Fir retreat has just been great for us. 100 bones a night and all the things you have at home...it's pretty hard to beat.

ride threw there many times a year and that dude is always an a**hole. yelling and screaming at u for driving threw. we had to point out to him last year that he doesn't own the hole f***ing mt. had reservations up there 2 years ago and he chewed us out on the way up. wouldn't waste 2cents there. just my opinion

I can only speak to how my family was treated while we were there.
Had a great time, would go back.
