Well I have to say I am really impressed with this sled!!!
I have done a few set changes/mods and it really helps with the clutch heat.
I added two slp flo rites in front of the primary clutch and also added just shy of 4 grams of weight. Clutch heat is WAY down and so is rpm. I was reving at 8550 in the deep stuff and #1 setting but after the added weight 7950 rpm @ #1. So I put it up to #3 setting and she runs @ 8200 rpm on the climb. I took 3 hard pulls and stoped to check the heat and could hold my hand on the belt for 5-10 seconds with a problem. IMO this is not to hot at all.
Compared to the other sleds we rode with, the XP is very coparable with the bigger bore machines. Rider impressions are unanamously positive with the XP.
For a stock sled it really rips!!!
BTW- It's a 163" X with a mbrp can, flo-rites, and added weight to the primary. Thats it!
