Had a great day until.......

Not sure yet. We took it down to where it was put together and will see what they have to say later in the week.

Hot dang Chad! that was scary, you are lucky you didn't get burned, or that it didn't consume the whole sled!

Glad you are all right, smart to jump off.
Thinking the same thing, is it going to blow up or burn down.:face-icon-small-sho

I've had that happen on a non-turbo twice. Scares the crap out of you doesn't it?

"We didn't start the fire.."
Yikes...scary stuff, glad you're alright!
Glad I didn't buy that Yamaha keyboard, may start on fire. ;)

oh ya it sure does scar the crap out of ya. Definately not something I was expecting to happen. I am just glad it didnt melt the gas tank enough to explode.

A couple of years ago my buddy had his poo go up in flames while he was on it... unfortunately he too went up in flames! He was pretty much engulfed when I got too him. He was throwing snow on his legs and had no idea his back was on fire also. He got pile drove into the snow and rolled out just before he suffered some serious damage. Unfortunately his sled was a complete loss! GONE ..... what a crazy day.

WOW, scary stuff for sure. Glad your alright did it cause any damage to the sled??

Damn! The first 3 times I watched it it was scary! But the last 3 times I watched it I laughed at the bail off!

Lucky it didn't light up in a big ball of flame at the bottom aeh! Glad your alright and not scorched!

Sadly that has happened to me twice. Both times I was with good, smart peeps that helped me get it out quickly. First time was a hole in the header. Second was a bad oil bushing to the turbo. Oil fire didn't want to go out at all. Had to turn my sled into a snow pile to get ride of the o2 source

Wow sounds like I am not alone in the fires. I have never seen a sled catch fire in reall life until this happened. I have seen a few videos though. Sounds like I came out of it better than others have. Well we will see how much the damage is. Still no word yet but I am sure it will take a few days to get figured out and fixed. Here is a couple of pictures of the sled after the fire. It could have been much worse thats for sure.

Ya the bail off was pretty funny. I have got to work on that :face-icon-small-win
