Also, can you tell me about the "unlock" that you can buy? What does it do? How can I tell if the previous owner did that or not?

You have a 2012, there's nothing to unlock.....

You already said you're running a "DPF delete" pipe or exhaust system. THEREFORE, the programmer is ALREADY unlocked. Theres nothing more to unlock. It either works or doesn't. If it works, its unlocked......

I've got an H&S tuner and DPF delete. In the beginning I had some questions/concerns as I was new. I called H&S directly and they were extremely helpful.

Scott, I believe you are referring to a "Hot Unlock" code that will allow you to unlock a bigger tune for your application. ie. Edge juice, smarty, and PPE all have this feature for an extra fee.

The unlock he was referring to was for the 2011 to current GM / Fords with urea. He already had it unlocked.....
