Hey guys getting my CPC stage 2 tommorow for PC 800....Wondering what you think about stayin with stock head. Run around 5000-7000 when in Revy. Gunna run 100LL on 8-10#. Heard the stock head has better low end throttle response, but know if i want to run lower elevation ill need the cut head for sure. Whats the pros and cons of the different heads???? Thanks a bunch

i have the cut head on mine. Basically you can get away with lower octane. it is a bit less snappy on the bottom....it doesnt bother me. I like the safety.

I asked the same question down a few posts didn't get much response. But I have been running the stock ho head with good results 8 psi at 800 ft. I am just wondering how much the ho head will handle.

really???? at 800 ft?? with straight 111 or wat? under 3000 Id be scared to deto at anything over 5 # (got no snow around home anyways in Sask so not worried about low elev riding right now, so maybe just keep the HO head on for now for mountain only riding)

Yes 800 ft and 8 psi running straight 100LL. I have the timmimg turned back 2deg. with the stock 2010 head. I just dont know how far I can go dont want to blow the head off! The first time I ran it after installing the manual boost adjuster I saw about 13 or 14 (OPPS had it adjusted the wrong way) for a very short pull maybe 2 or 3 seconds. That was some serious power at 800 ft of alt.!

Well i guess ill go put my stock head back on for now itching to work on it, kit got delayed shipping:face-icon-small-sad.. Anyone know the pattern and torque specs for it??? So a guy just has to be a little more careful for deto with the stock one then.. How does the deto sensor work and where does it go? Is it just the stock one, Ive got it come up a come times on WOT runs on my first tank with oil mixed in it saying "OCTNE" and retards the motor.

Yes you should be fine just make sure you have good enuff octane and start with boost low 5 ish then just inch it up if you start getting deto back the boost off a little. Yes use stock det sensor, plugs loosening is also a sign.

O and I weaned my 2010 down to about 50/50 100LL and premium at 8000ft @ 8 psi. Hope this helps ya.

thanks for all your help man......Lowest I can go with the Actuator im getting is 7 but im going to run 100LL at 5000-7000 feet so ill start with 7 and should be fine till 10 im hoping

Yep I would think you should be good to go. Post back after you get it running I am interested in how it runs.
