any ride in montrose, gunnison area. i am headed up to a place called arrowheaed in gunnison counnty this weekend to check snow level. anyone been out that way?

I'll take a stab at this being that 50 people have looked at it and not written anything. I've only hunted up there, but a lot of the meadows are logged out areas with a lot of downfall and stumps. I don't think theyv'e gotten the snow down there as much as up north. You'll probably be limited to road riding and there is a fair amount of it. Arrowhead is a nice little lodge. Looks like a good bar but never stopped for drinks. Beats watching the Bronco's!

Arrowhead rocks!

We have a cabin up there. Some great sledding to be had, with not a lot of people. Not much snow up there yet, just got done hunting up there last weekend. Lodge is awesome, James and Kathleen (owners) are great people and very sled friendly. Great bar and very good food. Www.innatarrowhead.com. Pm me for more details.

Make sure you check call the Inn before you plan on having lunch up there, I think they are going to be closed for a couple weekends before christmas. It would suck to get up there and find out they are closed and not have lunch packed......Road rides will probably be all you can hope for at this point. Have fun and let us know what the conditions are when you get down.

just got back from arrowhead. awesome place to ride just need more snow. we met some nice people out on the trail and had a fire it was a cool place to ride. the inn was closed but we will definally be staying up there sometime.

Right on man, thanks for posting. Arrowhead is awesome for sure. The Inn will be returning to regular hours soon and stay that way all winter. I highly recommend staying there and riding.
