Why would a true blue,dyed in the wool, lib even consider participating in something as environmentally devastating as snowmobiling? Two stroke smoke, diesel burning pickup smoke, belt dust, noise, disturbing animals,possible coolant or chaincase leak, relieving ones self in the great outdoors! Think of the carbon footprint that is left from a single ride!! The planet can't take any more of this destruction! Seriously though, why would a diehard lib even ride? Wouldn't a pair of ski's or snowshoes, a hemp sweater, some weed, a hybrid prius and a couple of malamutes be a lot more environmentally friendly then all that nasty, foreign oil dependent,dirty,loud,polluting, nature raping, snowmobile $hlt?
Your right. We need to tell the manufacturers to stop selling sleds to anyone who voted for a democrat! After all reducing the amount of snowmobiles over all would be great for the industry! It would be refreshing to see our manufacturers look past making money and hold steadfast in their beliefs that only people who strictly vote for republicans can buy sleds.
Seriously, when our sport is small enough as it is, why would you risk alienating any group of people? I don't think anything hurts our sport more than alienating those who enjoy the sport too.

We will be lucky to keep what we have here in the states. It might just go overseas now (like it has) and who could afford a new sled then.... How can the manufacturer stay in business then!?

I've got a sweater made of bamboo does that count? My work car is a Prius and I have been know to smoke a bit of weed. I have been riding snowmobiles since the late 70's and voted Republican in every presidential election till the dumb Bush boy and the crocked Mitt ran. If all the Federal government did was provide for National defense it would be fine by me. I have worked since I was 14, put myself through school without a student loan, lived modestly and owe nothing to anyone. I can take of myself thank you very much. AND, there is nothing more pleasing to the olfactory sense than the smell of two-stoke oil on a crisp winter morning!!

I am not a real hard core republican at all but I do not see how dems or libs being in any kind of leadership position can help snowmobiling or anything else that involves land use or any type of powersports.So how can anyone who enjoys these things support a lib in any kind of political position? Do the libs want riding areas to stay open and less new areas to be closed off? Ask yourself that question.
