Well think about this. For the most part people didnt really raise a fuss until it happend so what we need to do is start making a huge deal out of it RIGHT NOW!!!!!! If we start getting every single gun owner/user together and rallying now they will realize that they cant make it any worse or we will get harder to handle. We need to fight to go back to where we came from not mearly stop them from making it worse because that isnt working.
Same for gas prices if we start taking the steps now at $1 something that we did at $4+ they wont be able to push it higher because we will stop buying it.
Sorry for the rant and getting offtopic but the long and short of it is the best defense is a good offense so lets offend some people.

Thousands of American have died to stand up for our rights. It would be a total disgrace to NOT stand up for them now. All previous wars and deaths would be in vain is we were to roll over and not die now. Do not think this can not happen. Look what just happened in this country yesterday. As of now, all mini motorcycle, atv's and sled's are forbidden. No more 120's. On the bike side, not only is sales banned, but now those that already have them, I have just learned that those with kids racing in the 50,65,85 and supermini classes are out of luck. These are all "mini motorcyles" and as thus it is going to be impossible to sanction these races and get insurance on the events. Basically, no kid racing!!! I can see what happens on the gun side of things to. I am going to post a link to a disturbing video at the end of this rant. In Great Britian where they have banned hand guns,semi-auto's and pump guns, folks are turning in all guns on their own accord. WHY? The amount of paperwork required to keep them LEGALLY and the taxes of doing so, just is not work it for the common person. Alot like the demise of the family farm in this country. Once the elders die off and the family loses the "homestead" tax designation, one can not afford to keep the family farm in the family once you have to pay taxes on it as if it were single family 1 acre lots. Big brother is killing the farms, one family at a time. It is coming. Like others have said, I will never be gunless. I may give up one and the rest have benn "sold". Let them prove otherwise....I have served 8 years in the Airforce. I am not going to let my years of service go for nothing...

I would make up some excuse like everybody has stated already. Lost in a poker game, stolen, sold to buy sled parts

I cant imagine the value of some of those collections let alone the principle of the whole thing. When will people realize that gun bans only hurt LAW ABIDING PEOPLE if someone has a gun with the sole intention of breaking laws with they arent going to turn them in its complete stupidity to think otherwise.
Situation: 3 years from now this gun ban has gone thru. As a citizen you either gave up a couple of your guns or you kept them all. Either way, you aren't supposed to have a gun. So, ol' Joe Homeboy breaks into your house and being a well employed criminal, he has a gun. You shoot him dead. What happens then??
First of all I would not register any of my guns, law or no law. That would take care of the rest. If they don't know you have one or 50 they just don't know. If a guy knocked on my door and wanted to come into my house to see if I had any guns I would tell him to take a hike, like immediately. I don't think it will ever come to this but I do think legislation will be introduced that if passed it could make laws that would require all guns to be registered. I estimate probably half of people would abide by it.......My daughter is a cop and my wife a retired cop. No way would they ever go knocking on doors asking people to turn over their guns. They are on our side.

Bottom line, when it comes right down to taking a human life you ain't gonna do it, take my word for it. You are all too good of guys to do that. Now if these idiots actually did have a team going around busting into people's homes taking their guns that is a different story. They will never be able to do that. Hey, they are Liberals don't forget. They don't have the balls and they don't have anyone working for them that have the balls...........

Blair Holt’s Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009 (HR45 Introduced in House). Any guns purchased and recorded under this bill, phone in and report them stolen immediately. If everyone did this simple act all the licensing and recording they did would be in vain. They will soon enough realized that everyone has banned together and will not stand for this sh!t.
