OK I can't take it anymore, all these pics of the great looking dirt biking in Utah have made me crack, well that and just knowing about Moab.

So I am going to start lobbying the wife to let me head out to ride and also start lobbying my dirt buddies to make the trek.

The question is, would we need a guide or be able to make a go of it on our own? What time of year is best for out there?

Any specific areas to hit? Would Moab be a place to hit for a day or two or would it be the whole trip and another trip for the high country single track?

You would need to dedicate at least 2-3 full riding days for Moab.

I would be happy to show you AF Canyon Single and the High Uinta mountain trails. Really need to wait till June for the good mountain riding. You know, gotta let the snow melt. Moab however is good from March-Nov.
Does get a little warm in the Summer time, especially with full gear.

You thinking Spring or Fall????

They will never let your kind in.......

Sure we will, he rides True Blue.;)

You should try and make the trip too. My MX Fail Portfolio could use a lot of fresh shots. You know, Orange bikes laying all over the mountain.

If you want some great riding, head to Mesquite. Wife can stay at the casino and gamble or hit the spa. You can ride right out of town in any direction. Head south to Lake Mead and the valley of fire, or north toward St. George and get high enough to reach the snow level.
