Guage Cauge??

I built my own from 1/16 inch plastic. Not a sleek billet look, but it only cost a dollar and about 15 min of time. :D

That's a great idea using flexible plastic like that. I've been looking for an easy and inexpensive way to build a gauge cage for my M7 (I can't see it at all with my 2" handlebar riser). How is the stability of yours? Does it flop or wiggle around while you're riding at all?

Necessity is the Mother of Invention!
I'm making a new one that only costs .89 cents, think carboard.:D
Start saving your pennies!!!
If it works thats what matters, ROck IT:beer;:beer;

I havent been riding yet, still waiting on parts. It should work just fine. It might work better being able to flex when you have to roll out of being stuck.

Ha! Looks like someone is one milk jug short in the recycling bin! Whatever works I guess.

LOL, BTW it was polyethylene. You can buy a 4X8 sheet for like $15

Here's some pics of mine. I cnc these from .080 AL, then powdercoat 'em.
They have breathable mesh already installed on it, so no hassle.
Stainless hardware and detailed instructions included.
Mounting holes stay close to the dash hole, and the tilt is adjustable.
I have different cradles for the SP or standard gauges
specifically designed for each. Not rigged up angle brackets.
Half the cost of the AMP one, shipped. Can also do custom colors.

PM me if interested.

I went with this cage on my M8 and have got a pile of compliments on the hill on it. Everyone comments on the quality and "factory installed" look. Super easy to install and the viewing angle when standing is perfect for me. Best "bang for the buck" mod for my M Series I have done so far. Great guy to deal with as well. :beer;

Gauge Cage

:)Just ordered one the other day from Madsigntist, Should be here Saturday. He was great to deal with and his product from the pics looks great. I like the already built in screen for the old gauge mount hole, and the adjustable angle. The weight of the gauge cage looks light also, but plenty strong.

Impressed

Here is my guage bracket that I picked up from Madsigntist. Fit, quality and function was superb. I also got enjoyment with the installation instructions.

P.P.

Standarg Gauge

Got mine installed from itsadrug. Nice product. I was nervous about the adjustable part coming loose, but it sure seems like it will stay in place. I haven't had a chance to ride it yet because it was -33 today! Here are the pics:
