Guage Cauge??

The Gage Cage works wonderfully!

I think there may be some less expensive options out there. There are pictures of someone's home made gage cage and it looks great. If you do a search you should be able to find it.

Also, AMP (the maker of the gage cage) was planning to build a nylon version to make it more affordable. BDX is also making a version similar to the gage cage.

I have the AMP guage cage and love it. Before I got it I could hardly even see my RPM's. I chose the AMP one over some of the other adjustable options because it is one stout billet aluminum piece. The adjustable ones look like they could easily break off if put to some abuse.

I have a simple version made by Snowest member "Itsadrug." 30 bucks, works great, and is fully adjustable for any riding angle. Search for M1000 speedo bracket and you will find it, or PM him. I didn't feel like spending over 1000 dollars for something that doesn't lighten things up or make horsepower!

I have the same one. It's simple but completely effective. I would buy one again.

pm wildchild on here, he has a gauge cage that you can adjust and it looks great, it also has mesh to cover up the whole so that snow cant get back in, very good product.

wildchild gauge "relocation system" here. Love it so far, adjustable and well built. And you can add a gauge bracket off the side of it if you're going to run gauges.

I don't think I would spend over 1000 dollars for a gauge cage either, though I did spend a little over a 100 for the amp one, and imo one of the best investments I've made to my sled.

Frostbite Thanks for mentioning BDX.
Different gauge relocators work great for better view of gauges and venting heat from under the hood. BDX thought it would be great to incorporate some more options like aditional 2 1/6'' gauge locations; goggle/glove
storage.

Here's some pics of mine. I cnc these from .080 AL, then powdercoat 'em.
They have breathable mesh already installed on it, so no hassle.
Stainless hardware and detailed instructions included.
Mounting holes stay close to the dash hole, and the tilt is adjustable.
I have different cradles for the SP or standard gauges
specifically designed for each. Not rigged up angle brackets.
Half the cost of the AMP one, shipped. Can also do custom colors.

PM me if interested.

HOw much do you charge?

What Brand is yours?? Do they really let the air out a lot or more for seeing it better while standing?

Mine is the AMP Gauge Cage, and yes you can put your hand under it and feal all the hot air excaping. I was suprised at just how much hot airbillow out of there. It is pricey but the build quality and functionality make it worth it.

gauge cage is awsome, Have the small Skinz windhield bag and the heat coming out of the cage keeps everything in the warm. Great for camera.gps.etc
