Gt 260 vs 110 octane

Local gas station sells gt 260 plus Sunoco gas, just wondering how this compares to 110 octane gas? Sunocos web sight says gt260 plus is highly oxygenated gas, isn't that bad for sleds?

It's 13% ethanol (max allowed in pump fuel is 10%) and has an octane rating of 104 (R+M/2). You'd need to add more fuel vs something with less ethanol to get the same power output (and not burn down). Doesn't sound like a good sled option to me. Most of us search for 0% ethanol fuel...

I use this fuel in my 550hp audi and boost 35psi with it all day long. Its the best unleaded race fuel out there other than VP ms109 (which is very expensive). How much is the gt plus per gallon at the pump right now? I pay a pretty hefty $8+ per gallon even with buying it in 55gal drums. The additives package in it is much different than your standard 10% ethanol pump gas.

Even with that being said, you can push more timing advance with the leaded 110

Went back to gas station today and its actually GT 260, not gt260 plus, sorry I didn't know there was 2 options. The normal gt 260 says 100 octane. I put 2 gallons in my sled every tank which should bring my octane up to 92.8. Is this safe and/or necessary to help these high performance little engines? Its 7.39 a gallon
