Grooming Greenwater?

Has anyone been to Greenwater FS70 this week? Is the groomer up and running?


The Washington parks web site still shows it down since Jan 13th.

I don't think grooming is going to matter with all the new snow, I'm heading up fri. morning.

i rode it yesterday, they were scheduled to groom last night but didn't. they are worried about avys, the machine getting stuck, etc. there is so much snow on the 70 rd, they cant even get it cleared. as of yesterday the road is blocked at the top of the 1st hill, and the gravel pit is the snowpark for the time being. this has never happened before, and hopefully will be fixed in time for the poker run on saturday. the snopark is shrinking, as they are running out of places to push the snow.
it was a great day of riding though, Jammin and i rode for a few hours, then i looked at my gas gauge and it appeard to be empty......and only 37 miles on the trip meter. not good when you're 15+ miles from the truck. we were pushin some serious POW! anyway, we cruised back slowly and both made it.
I think my sled ran out of gas when i rode it onto the sled deck....yep, thats a good day.

My advice---get off of FS70 as soon as possible---It is getting ruff--By friday it will be like GC on a busy day--The new snow has not helped the road out--but off road is DEEP!! Was great today--but a bit heavy.
