Grips

I ride a 09 Assault. I broke my hand last year and need to get surgery to fix it. I gets quite sore riding. The grips I have on the sled currently feel about as thin as a cheap condom. Anyone know of a good set up? Somewhat of a soft setup, maybe a little thicker compound grips?

Thanks

x3, my first sled with anything different than stock. Softer and great grip on the bars.

I put on the RSI gel wraps last year and love them. They have lasted well, have several hundred miles on them and they are still in good shape. Soft and comfortable, and thicker than standard grips. You can also wrap them even thicker if you like. The grip is great with them also.

I was going to recommend the RSI gel wrap grips but skidoogirl beat me to it! I really like them, theyre super soft and easy to install, and if you want you can make them thicker by just wraping them thicker.

I put a set of these Spider Grips on my 900 paint shaker this year and absolutely love them... much thicker and I can't feel any vibration in the bars with them now:D:D

ODI grips...and if you want them to be even fatter, get a set of the Ski Doo cork bar wraps (part number 506152360)...(ski-doo puts them UNDER the heaters to insulate the heaters from the bars)...added benefit is your grip heaters work better!!
