Grip puppies?

I've been corking my hand warmers for better heat and thicker grips on the pro tapers on a few sleds. They heat amazingly but I'm still looking for a larger diameter hand grip solution. Anyone use grip puppies? Any other ideas to bring the diameter up?

At a certain point... larger grips will limit your ability for the flipper to go WOT.

I'm sure you could design your way around it though.

Something to ponder...

I put these cheap grips over the top of my stock grip to get the diameter up. It had a decent grip to it and absorb some vibration due to the nubbins. I did have to cut the flange off the one end that would go up against the bar end and shave for the throttle flipper but really liked it for my big hands.

This is why I have stopped where I did in the past... However there are a lot smarter people than myself on here, any other solutions?

I feel like a thousand pound gorilla every time I grab the stock set up.

If you buy two sets of dirtbike grips (twist throttle) you can get the throttle grip over the existing/stock easier.

I have really big hands, mainly finger length (XXL, XXXL gloves), but still just run stock or a set of atv/dirtbike grips (not over anything but heaters). When running some ATV/dirtbike style grips I have had to cut down the inside rib so the throttle flapper could go all the way down.

I wonder if the rsi grips have enough "give" in them to put on over the top of the stockers?

Not to hijack the thread but one question on bar warmth. Does it help to spray foam inside the stock Pro Taper bars? Just looking for another option instead of taking off the grips and wrapping them with cork tape.

It's negligible, I tried it and didn't notice any difference but others say it helps... The cork is very noticeable if you take off the heating elements and wrap them over the cork. But yeah it's kind of a pia:)

Don't need cork with our heaters.
