Who makes the best grip heaters out there?

Or is there really any significant difference in quality from one to another ??

Note:
This is for use with OFT's Yamaheater control module.

Slow day everywhere!! Check with Symtec in Fridley MN. they used to make some of the OE grip warmers, until everything got shipped to China. They have may of the OE replacement parts as well as their own.

I run RSI grip heaters on mine and the seem to work well. I am not sure they will work with the OFT module or not

When I rode with Paul from Impulse he ran this set up. Was super clean. Got rid of the yamaha controls and simply tapped in a small coolant line. One in and one out. After market bars. Allowed him to run super thin gloves. I'm sure you could just add a in-line shut off valve if it gets too warm.

now that would be cool. a manufacturer putting out liquid heated handlebars. too bad it takes so much $$$$ to make $$$$. all you would need is a couple tees and the right size hose.
except i guess if they broke and you lost all the blood out of your machine. thatd be a bummer. steel braided hose maybe?

I have tired alot of different ones. the best ones are and have to be used with a straight bar...no hook.

2003 RX1 grips (grip and element all one piece)...about 45 bucks a piece and just wire em into your nytro like stock ones....no need for that module deal. I have been running em for 4 seasons and my whole group has switched to them now (after they kept feeling mine when we stopped). They WORK and most the time I have to run em on low low. Will dry out wet gloves on hi

try em...epoxy em on and they have 2 rivot holes....dont move, twist or come loose!! Stock nytro grips suck!! these work!!!!!

I am using a set of Yamaha hot Grips (think that's the correct name) on my Pro Taper bars and what an improvement over stock. I have the Yamahaheater home on my bench and was going to install but don't think I will now these are that good.

I opted to just stick with the OEM heaters with the foam padding behind them.

Will get them installed in the next couple days and then plug in the Yama-Heater module to them.

I like the idea of the 2003 RX1 heaters, do they work on the Apex bars with the angled hooks on the end?

No u have to loose the hooks. We have cut them off and added two inches of straight right on the machine with great results on apex or nytros

I don't know what they've changed but the grip warmers on my 2012 Nytro are great, best hand warmers I've ever had. Way better than my '05 Vector warmers. They get hot while the sled is idling warming up and I usually run them on 1 or 2 bars all day long.
