Grip Heater Wiring Question

So I've tried to look this up, and found a thread that asks the question (and is full of good info), but I can't tell if it was answered. There are two yellow wires on my 04' Vert Edge that go up to the handle bars. One is slightly thicker than the other. Are these both power? Or just the smaller one that went into the left hand switch cluster?

I ask because like the OP in this thread:http://www.snowestonline.com/forum/showthread.php?t=236105&highlight=switch+relocation
I have moved all my electrical controls to the console to clean up the bars. I wired the lights to an ON/ON switch so I can switch between high and low beam using the thinner yellow wire for power. For the grip heaters, do I simply tap into the same power wire or should I use the thicker yellow wire? I went with RSI's 8" heaters and will be using an ON/OFF/ON switch to go between off, low, and high.

Thanks a bunch!

Oh, and I'll post pics of my sled at some point: before/after and during the more recent mods (once its "done" anyway).

i beleive the two yellow wires are power yes, i think one is for the perc and for the lights, what i did on my o4 switchback is just unplug all the old connections going to the controls for lights, warmers, etc. and wire them on your new components then everything just plugs in like stock, and i mounted my left hand controls on top of the steering post.

One of the yellow wires is for the lights. I wired my grip heaters to the thicker insulated yellow wire and they did not come on. So I jumped my lights switch power terminal to the grip heater switch power terminal and now they work. So not sure what that thicker yellow is for...but it didn't make my grips warm.

The PERC is activated by grounding the little grey wire momentarily, thats why you can use the "start" position of the key switch as your reverse activator.
