Agreed...... if they would just sand the two steep hills on the bypass and keep ahead of the plowing they would never have to close that gate. I hope they are taking advantage of the nice weather and clearing the road to open the gate. Riding that far just sucks when it is that thin , and mainly ice. The forecast is for high 40's in the coming days in the mountains - they better take advantage of it.

Great ideas guys, but we need way more money than we get. Ron does not get squat to plow, and his contract with state parks includes 2 non motorized snowparks further up 410. Yeah sand and or deicer would work well, but we would need at least 5 times what we are getting to make that work the way it should. Yes it is a FS road, but funding for plowing is through Wa state parks, FS does not have money or reason to plow the road. Start raising money and we could probably do more.

How long would it take to groom the road from the gate to Pyramid creek..??..

I think don't plow the road... groom one side of it...
