Went up yesterday and today. Yesterday got up there around 10:30 and parked at the upper gravel pit just below Mikes Rock. Road was pretty much bare. Had a great day found some powder to play in, had fun. There were still some areas where the creek was not totally covered.
Went up today and left Bonney lake at 7:15. Got to the sno park at 8:15 or so. HOLY CRAP. It was DUMPING. In the 30 minutes or so it took to get organized, there was probably an inch of snow that fell. It pretty much snowed MOST of the day.
Made it up to the cabin, and were one of the first ones there. It had been dumping ALL night, and everything that wasn't covered Saturday was more or less covered today. There were still some holes out there, so be careful, but alot fewer than Saturday. Went out to the second medow and where the first people out there, so we played there a bit, and then worked our way over Pyramid pass... TOTAL blizzard, and very near white out conditions.
Got back to the truck at 1:30... Good day. If you didn't go up today, what were you thinking????!?!?!?!?!
