Greenwater report? (5-12-11) Is it over?

That's at the cabin. You gotta drive quite a ways up. The pile of snow blocking the road at the y was still there and we had to ride rocks for a wayz after that to cell tower. Once yur up there there's snow. On the way back down bring an extra lunch for the walk unless you want to tear yur equipment up because the snow ain't there like it was 7 hrs prior.

It's spring time...anywhere you go there will be some road riding. Do you expect a groomed trail right to your truck? Haha

from where we parked and where the y is it's not that far, and there were snow piles on the sides of the road to drive on. I'm assuming by this weekend the snow that was blocking the trucks will be gone or you'll be able to drive thru it and go farther up the road.

Cell tower? Man I gotta get it together. there's a cell tower at GW? XPSENSIVE are You riding this week end?

I assume the Y you are talking about is the one just past where the Naches trail crosses 70 and before the longer south facing dugway that melts first? Any guesses how long before the upper gravel pit or even better, Mikes rock spot is drivable in a truck ? I would rather put a few easy miles on a new motor now instead of next fall.

we parked at mikes rock last week end and that is where the snow started. there was about a foot on the road. If it would have been colder you could have made it accross, but in that slush it was a stuck fest. and yes you 've got the "Y" right. there was just a couple 100 yard sections of gravel then no probs. Not sure how warm or how much rain the road got this week. Some of that snow may have melted away.

I know its spring. If a sled was ment to get muddy it would have wheels instead of skis and a track. Hummm 11 ft quad. Hahahaha
Not into tearing my chit up.

I bet its a wash now, eh? It poored like a MF here last evening. Pisses me off that I didnt get out yesterday morning... Im throwing in the towel and putting my sleds in the garage...

cheers
