Greenwater grooming warning

Greenwater will not be getting groomed this weekend!

Just a warning to anyone planning on going to Greenwater this weekend.
The groomer got about halfway though his route and had a problem. He limped back to the snowpark, but is now down and waiting for parts. Parts won't arrive until at least Monday, so hopefully it will get fixed shortly after, but never any guarantees. It's good right now, but will probably get pretty rough this weekend.

I agree save the grooming for a time when it counts, and I talked to them today and they said It will be up soon.

Besides... the groomer breaking down every weekend is a normal occurance. Our expectations of that operation are pretty low.

Breaking News on 1-12-09: The Greenwater groomer is broken down and will be out of service until the routine part that breaks all the time is shipped in from the moon... Should be back in service next year.

Last year it broke in the meadow .Then they used the excuse there's too much snow so they spent the all the money grooming the parking lot . My prediction its done for the year .

what sucks is after they fix it they will groom everyday to make it up for the time it was broke. its totally sucks, I think I will be at the groomers meeting next month

I was supposed to keep this a secret but here is where the groomer is getting all his parts from.

I rode at Greenwater when there was no groomer... I think we should be happy they even try.
My dad and I had to "sligshot" our way to the cabin. Now we take advantage of the groomed trail just to ride where we shouldnt even be...

Grooming $money

THe grooming money$ and road plowing money are different contracts so don't worry .In the begining of the season we had 39 hrs a week for grooming an with all of these small breakdowns it will carry us into an after april 1st making the grooming season longer when it counts or we need it more. So stop whining
