Anyone knows if the yellow gate is open to drive all the way to the snow park or still closed. Thanks.

As of this past Sunday (Feb 19th) the gate was still closed.

As of monday presidents day february 20th, gate is closed and there has been significant snow melt around the materhorn cutoff. We hope that within the next two weeks that the cutoff road will be plowed. Just west of the gate at the turnaround, there is no snow along the road and people are riding in the ditch with no snow just to get to thier rigs.

Now Closing

Just heard from the groomer, there is a washout in progress just above the upper (main) snowpark on the 70 road.
The area is going to be closed to snowmobiling until they can figure out how to fix the problem. (If it can be fixed this season)
Currently there are trees down across the road and a washout ditch getting bigger immediately after the creek just above the snopark.

We should have more info later this evening. (and pictures I hope)
