greenwater gate

anyone been up to greenwater this weekend? was the gate at the bottom open and do you know who or how to find out if they plan on opening gate and plowing the road?

looking to take the moterhome up there next weekend, and was just wondering if there was any possibility of getting to the top staging area or if i would have to dig out a spot out of the way at the bottom?

bringing fire pit so we will have a fire.
as far as riding we typically stick to the groomed trails, we arent good enough yet to do alot of off trail stuff yet.

but i would like to ride out the back of the meadow and out towards whistling jacks.

He said the vote at the meeting was to go ahead and keep the gate closed and keep the roads groomed for know. He was there sat. The groomer has it broke down into hrs for the money he gets paid. If you want a say it the issues up there I would encourage you to go to the meetings and be informed of the issues at hand.

got no issues bud,
just trying to plan ahead, if we camp at the top that will require i pull out earlier and get the kids out an hour earlier so i can chain up motorhome and so on.

XP how was it up there on Sunday? Saturday the day ended with rain at Gold Creek. We were up pretty high too.

Ok till later afternoon. Started to drizzle on my nizzle. It wasn't wooped out either. The groomer is doing a good job of keeping the greenwater speedway fairly smooth. Little bumpy in places but I've seen it way worse.

Thank god for the groomer at GC on Sat. I was cold, wet, tired and hurt. The trail out was pretty smooth when I finally got to a main line. Really saved my hide. Thanks whoever you are. The trails that werent groomed were pretty bad...
