What is going on at the by-pass? I have a couple of freinds that have gone up there in the last few weeks and they said there is a lot of heavy equipment parked at the bathroom before you go over the by-pass and the first gravel lot is full of dirt/rock. They got the impression they are working on the wash-out area ? There were dozers and a roller.

Anyone in the know ?

INDIANS AND FISH AND WILD LIFE RIVER RESTORMENT

Well a long story short, they are woiking down below on the river to restore it to the way it was years ago before it got washed out in a few places. They are putting some "bends" or "cursves" in it to slow it down for fish habbitat. They have been using the upper lot to store gravel and rock, they are supposed to flatten it all out and remove all the equipment before the snow flies to return it to a useable snow park if needed. Not sure it that will really happen but thats the scoop.
