Greenwater anybody been lately?

was up on sunday. parked in the main snow park lot at the end of the pavement/gate. Only had to ride about 3 100 yard sections of gravel. some rigs parked beyond the gate to avoid the first 2 sections of gravel. we took the left at the first Y to play it safe with snow and the trail was completly covered. it was cold most of this week so it should be fine.

Ya - Rhino has it spot on. We were up last Friday expecting a lot of new as Crystal claimed they got 21 inches that week. I would say GreenWater got about 8-10" of that. All-in-all not bad for Spring riding.

Was all of the heavy equipment still down working on the river at the bottom of the by-pass? They were dumping a lot of rock in the first gravel bit and doing dozer work in that and across the road from it.

Sunday: Snow showers before 11am, then rain showers. High near 44. West northwest wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

you still rolling at noon? Weather looks marginal but i'd be up for a little poking around.

I was talking about right at the bottom of the by-pass where the bathroom is. The old road we used to go in on following the river - that's where they were working.

More damage. Did you notice the bridge just before Greenwater has been missing for a while?

Lookingout my front window at the foot hills. Snow level looks like its about 2500 ft.

Went up yesterday, hands down the most wet I have ever been while snowmobiling. If you go up on any slopes watch out, kicked down a slide yesterday. Top stuff is real heavy and unstable. Still lots of snow though.
