Some of you watched the other thread about a Soldier not getting what he paid for...and being out for $500...

Clearly NOT the thing we want soldiers thinking about before they get deployed to the Middle East...

EricW in his normal fashion stepped in to help this soldier by offering to buy the debt from this certain online retailer...(WOW!!! but normal for EricW!!!)

Well, after a few phone calls...

Skinz Protective Gear stepped in to donate a tunnel Kit that will make the SOldiers M7 look like the newer M7's and give a little Extra Bling factor (WAY COOL!!!)

Well, to top it off... Michelle and the crew at Oregon Trail Sports stepped in and donated some Klim gear to go with his killer new looking M sled...You ready...here is the list....yes LIST of stuff!!!

Klim F-4 Helmet Black 2009 (HOTTEST item one of the only ones left in USA)
Klim PowerCross Pullover 2009
Klim FreeRide's (Pants) 2009
Klim Powercross Gloves 2010
Klim Inferno Upper and Lower 2009
Klim Revot Pullover 2009

All free of charge, and All out of the generosity of their hearts, because they want this guy to deploy and focus on getting back here not on distractions from home WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

INCREDIBLY cool!!!!!

the sledding community is a VERY small world, and it WILL take care of eachother!!!

Michelle (Oregon Trail), Jeff and Tammy (Skinz),

WOW, your generosity is INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank you, and WOW!!!!!!!!!!

That is awesome. These same people will be kept in mind when ordering products/parts in the future. It's important that we support those who care.

WOW! That restores faith in the kind people that still inhabit this planet... they seem to be getting fewer but stories like this rekindle my faith in mankind!

Great job guys!!!!!!!!!

WOW is right. Someone that is passionate about helping others and knows how to run a business! Way to step up.

Awesome! Thanks to all for showing support for him. And thanks greatly for the soldier protecting our nation!

Stories like this that help a guy have faith in people.

Now that EricW guy, his name seems to be attached to most of the threads like this. A great example he is to all of us as to what it means to be compassionate and have brotherly love. We hear here and there about things he does makes me wonder how many things we don't hear about :D Thanks for the example you are too all of us in and out of sledding EricW.

Like PJ said, helped meat last year, helped with a motor for a guys sled last year. Ones I can think of off the top of my head pay attention seems like the majority of the good things that happen on here have a tie in to Eric.

Kudos to Oregon Trail too, have heard great things about them on here and from others!

Funny how the Greenies want to shut down a sport that is so giving to people.

Kudos!!!

Trav, read the Team2 thread and you'll see what the deal is.

And to the Soldier...... your not a terrorist in my book;) and I appreciate everything you guys do state side or abroad, hopefully your back in time next winter to enjoy your new gear.

This community never ceases to amaze me....I knew EricW would be "there" in some way. Good on all you people. Soldier, you get yourself home, and thanks for doing what some can't or won't. Salute!

I was out of the loop for a few days and just read these threads this morning. All day I have been at a loss for words and overwhelmed by everyones support.

When I posted my situation with TM2, my intentions were to help fellow snowmobilers to be more informed of who they order from. My second intention was to hopefully light a fire under TM2's butt and get my money back! (still hasn't worked!)

I never expected this type of response! As I said earlier, it's been overwhelming, especially for someone like myself who usually shies away from any type of recognition!

The support that everyone has given our armed forces is awesome. It's what drives us and motivates us to put that uniform on each and every day; to put 60+ pounds of gear on in 120 degree heat; to willingly spend multiple deployments away from loved ones and to willingly do whatever it takes to keep this country safe.

When I returned from Iraq the first time, our first stop on American soil was Bangor Maine. Hundreds of people were there to welcome us and thank us even though they did not know us. A fellow Soldier that go off the plane with me was overwhelmed by emotion. He told me that when he returned from Vietnam he had to change into civilian clothes and throw his uniform away before exiting the airport! (Because of protesters waiting to beat up men in uniform returning from Vietnam!) I will never forget that day, or that Vietnam vet who volunteered at the age of 53 to defend his country again. He even attempted to go again recently, but was turned down due to his age.
Without your support there would not be stories like this to share!

Thank you to everyone!!
