Grease Zerk and Primary Issue

I went to grease my 800 XP yesterday and 2 of the zerks were missing the hole was there just no zerk, any other people with this issue.

I have been riding RMK's since late 01 so the doo primary is somewhat new to me. From what I remember there should be springs pushing the buttons out, mine had none. Or am I wrong.

Thanks
Mark

Im not sure about the grease zerks, but as far as the springless buttons on the primary that is normal. Doo started that last year on the TRA on the 800R engine.

Thanks for the info, the only other doo clutch I have had apart was on a 03 600 and I'm sure that had springs in it, I think.

No springs on the buttons and no zerks on some of the back suspension. That is the way the XP's come. I didn't bother with the button retainers and it worked fine for working on the clutch. As far as the zerks go, some guys are speculating they leave the holes there so moisture drains out?!?
