Hey guys there is a local grass drag next weekend and I was thinking about just taking my engine stock M8 and ripping it up a little bit. Is there anything I should do? How will the efi adjust? will it run like crap? I am at about 1000' so low elevation.

Thanks!

Boondocking and everything :D

We do it every year. Around here they have Mountain Classes and there are lots of M's and Dragons. There was an 08 M8 that ran in the stock classes lasy year that did really well. It's all in the clutching and you might want to bring a pump sprayer with some dish soap and water mixed to spray the sliders before you run. Ice bags on the rear of the tunnel after your run help a lot to cool it down.

Sounds good. I just want to go out and pull the rope. I am not going to any big grass drag like hay days or anything just wanna go have some fun and smell some 2 stroke.

I think you best bet is to let your girl friend ride your sled

Ill post video. She will take it for a couple of passes.

Should do well.
I would suggest some heavier primary weights (go up about 2 grams on each arm or keep the same weight and go to the heavy tip weight.. either will work well..)

Adjust your suspension so there is no wheelie (practice in your yard if need be)

The EFI will compensate just fine.. in 500ft it is nearly impossible to hurt a sled..

Good luck and have fun!!!
