graphic installation help

got an arctic fx sled wrap graphics package and sled is all stripped of old stickers and i am ready to apply the new ones. directions aren't very clear as to which method to use to apply new one. anybody out there help? just peel, place and stick. or do i need to do the wet method? help!!!!!

I would use soapy water mixture to spary on before to make sure you get the grpahics in the spot you want. and them squgee the water out and let dry.

I just spent the afternoon putting a wrap on my wife's sled. Bigger job than I thought it would be.

I personally didn't like the water method they suggested. It created so many bubbles that were a pain to smooth out. Maybe I needed more water? I didn't like the results and did the rest dry, which worked great. I just lined it up, started in one corner and smoothed with my finger as I laid it down.

Have fun!

In my opinion, use the wet method as a last resort or if you just want to speed the process up.

Trim the decals out, cutting as close to edge as possible. Align the shape you just cut out to the proper area of the sled, tack it in place with some masking tape (I started shipping strips of the wrap material for this purpose because masking tape doesn't always stick to the plastics)

Make a hinge across the middle of the decal while its held in place and install one half and then the other.

I should be getting a short video soon that shows the process well.

Where are you located and what kind of sled is it?

have done 15-20 sleds in the last couple years and they are a little time consuming but once you get the hang of it is pretty easy. the above suggestion is right on the money!
