Weds April 24, 2013 Two of us rode out of Idleglenn-no rigs in the parking lot. We hit the trees under Little Gravel, then Lower Gravel, then into Pony Park over to Porphry Peak--no other sleds to be seen or heard. Back tracked to Gravel--we were alone on the mountain for the first time in over 25 years and we owned all the marks--the high country was deep with new snow, a blue bird day with the groomer providing perfect untouched trails, manicured just for us. Our rig stood alone in the parking lot when we returned-just the two of us-a once in a lifetime riding experience in Grand Lake.!
