GPS tracking units on snomobiles Recomendations?

I'm looking at getting GPS tracking units for all of my toys, there has been a rash of sled/ATV/Motorcycle thefts and I've decided it's time to protect myself before it's too late. Has anyone used one of these units, any brand recomendations?

GPS tracking for theft or for riding in the wilderness?

GPS for theft tracking, as far as a battery, it would need to be a self powered unit, I'm not sure I like the idea of a battery powered unit as it takes nothing to disconnect a battery.

Was just at LO-JACK website ... not for a snowmobile

Can LoJack be installed on off-road motorcycles?
The LoJack unit has been designed to be installed in on-highway motorcycles and has been environmentally tested to perform in riding conditions associated with on-highway usage. Due to vehicle battery size and riding conditions, LoJack does not recommend that the unit be installed on ATV, dirt or scooter motorcycles. If the unit is installed in these motorcycles, the warranty will be void due to improper installation

Also, a Lojack needs to be installed by a dealer without owner knowing where it is located.(void warranty)

Lojack needs a battery.
