does anyone have coordinates for the popular spots in snowies. my old gps quit working and lost all my info. I'm not looking for any secrets, (unless you want to). Just looking for the basics 7 fools, widowmaker, the gap, libby flats. Im sure I m missing some. Thanks guys

What is your make/model of GPS?

What is this GPS thingy you speak of?:biggrin1:

A fun little electronic device that we turn on to play "guess the elevation" when we stop for lunch :)

The only other time we have used a GPS year was to mark a dead Polaris :face-icon-small-win

Yikes, you mean Polaris' die!

To be fair - the sled had over 4500 miles on it and the motor (700) had never been touched, so I think it held up pretty good. It just picked a bad spot on a deep day to break down!

It's a Garmin Oregon 450T, and I don't know chit about how to use it. I played with it a little but don't know the range good enough to find them on my own. Thanks for any help guys

You can also load custom maps on to that unit. See post #2 in this thread for the Snowy Range .kmz file:

Follow the instructions in post number #1 to load the map onto your GPS. This does not have the waypoints marked, but once you have this map on your unit you can use google earth to find the spots you want and then use MapSource to mark the waypoints yourself.
