Snow report

We missed the REALLY good stuff last week before Christmas. You really have to look for secret stashes right now. The North facing trees sections have been good. A lot of tracks out there though. Still little humps. :face-icon-small-con The snow is quite crustie right now. :face-icon-small-sad

We could really use a HUGE storm again. :face-icon-small-coo

Today is going to be a R & R day for us. (rest and repair :face-icon-small-ton)

OUCH!!

Any sled damage?

How's the shoulder?

I'm glad my body just face planted in the snow this time. :face-icon-small-sho

I'm still hurting from two weeks ago when I scraped a tree with my ski and hit my thigh on the handle bars. I need body armor like a football player. LOL!

body armour a must...head to toe for me!

No damage.....I guess I was lucky to slam into a tree with the XP instead of a pine cone ;)

Shoulder is tenderoni...but I'm a fighter...didn't you see me fight of the pain? LOL

What is it with you and the hubby GP?

Your riding group always send you two ahead to scout out the landmines?

LOL!!!

I thought we had to ride like that to be in the UCrew. :face-icon-small-win :face-icon-small-hap

We seem like we make sure the area is safe and expose all the dangers for the riders behind us. :face-icon-small-con I decided we should start carrying spray pant and markers to mark the danger zones after we expose the little surprises. Oh and take a set of A-arms along with us. :face-icon-small-hap

The ride out was brutal!!!! Thanks to my hub and Hector taking turns fighting the sled down the road. I tried one time to ride it down the road and the sled beat me up and WON!

Hey I've done that twice this year already. Just like you, carving/sidhilling next to trees. I've learned that rocks like to hide near trees. I think the snow is shallower there or maybe just the rocks are bigger. At least you have a video to remember it by :face-icon-small-sho

Glad she was OK. After we dusted her off and got her up, a little banged up but for the most part ok:face-icon-small-coo. And GP was ok too.... LOL!!:p

J\K J ... But it was funny after the fact... Then followed by the camera trip the next day.. too funny.... Good times... Glad we all made it out ok.... :face-icon-small-coo

LOL. Bunch of jerks! :face-icon-small-win :face-icon-small-ton I forgot about all the sympathy I got vs my sled. Funny. I was more concerned about the sled too. Oh and the camera. haha :face-icon-small-con BTW, I'm alright now let's hurry up and get this sled home so we can get me a back up sled and RIDE! :face-icon-small-hap :face-icon-small-coo

Good times, good times. :face-icon-small-hap

Hmmmm..... My theory is rocks don't grow in trees....

Actually higher wind blown area's was the root cause of this mishap. The rest of us were riding about 5 mph using Extreme Caution but GP was rippin up every square inch at top notch speeds. :face-icon-small-dis[/QUOTE]

something to do with the vid :camera: ??? :p
