Just had to find a way to end the season with a ride and we did. Snow was like quick sand and would suck you down like nobody's business. Hooked up with Marc and Stacie and kids. Was easy to not take chances thanks to the kids. We spent all day with perma grin watching as they entertained us. I did manage to fly over my hood once. Arm must be strong cuz I didn't let go and pushed my bars into the windshield as I flipped.:face-icon-small-sho GP stuck it once and was smart enough to call on the radio for help. :face-icon-small-win

All in all it was great just to get out. My son said it was the best ride of his life. Now that's rewarding:face-icon-small-hap

Great day...

I have no idea what was going on. I was just sitting there. :face-icon-small-win :face-icon-small-hap

Watching the kids is very enjoyable. So fun, full of energy and excitement. I get so much out of it. They bring the fun.

One story to add. Our daughter. She has a thing with getting herself in trouble. Plan out easy trouble. Like falling in a puddle or I should say creek to make us hurry back to the cabin. But before that happens we use extra socks to warm her freezing toes and hand warmers in my mittens to keep the toes toastie until we get to our cabin. Her boots are to wet to wear. She now is wearing mit-boots... :face-icon-small-dis She always seems to do something to become soaking wet out there and I have to pull out extra this and that to make her warm again. Yes, even on a warm day. Challenging fun but oh so worth it.

Thats awesome guys. Glad you were able to get out. I cant wait my girls are old enough to ride!
My nearly 4 year old thinks that it's awesome to pin the trottle on the ATV when I let her drive. I think I may be in trouble.:face-icon-small-sho

Back in the saddle again! Great shots. I swear whenever I get a photo of me jumping and I think I just got HUGE air then look at the picture and it's never more than what those kids on the phazers are getting! Awesome.

I got the exact sled! Opps my boy does hes getting pretty froggy on it! Lets do a kid ride this week? Hows your schedule during the week? We need to find a place we can drive to the snow?

Thats awesome you guys.
We were up in your neck of the woods yesterday. We parked in the manor lands parking lot and then rode up past the boy scout camp and then into the cataracts(sp?)
The snow is going fast. I think it was our last ride.

Sure you saw my truck and trailer there. That parking lot was gettin messy today. Went down this morning and loaded while still frozen. It's definitely over.

So good to see you guys back in action! Nice to see you are taking the time to teach the boys all the tricks. They are doing awsome! Great Pics!

So was this an injury free ride????? Thought I better ask, never know with you two!!!:thumb:

Your kids better know just how awesome they have it!

So cool:face-icon-small-coo

They're extremely spoiled. As they get older they are starting to understand that everyone doesn't have a cabin they go to on the weekend. We talk to them about moving to our little home in the woods and neither one of them hate the idea. We are extremely thankful for that. I honestly would rather live there than here. We wouldn't have to worry about strangers from the church coming over to chit chat uninvited. :peep:

BTW.. Anyone have a sway bar laying in your garage that will fit my dragon?

LOL! I wouldn't say I was in action. Now Ron, he managed to pull off a few action moves. Accidental of coarse. :face-icon-small-con I took off to find an outhouse and my sled got sucked into a tree. I was wearing my knee brace and knowing I shouldn't try to do anything other than just sit there. So I pulled out the radio and called for help.

Now I should try to explain the snow if nobody got out to experience it. It was really wet, like DEEP slushy quick sand, that would suck you downward when you weren't expecting it. Nobody could walk on the surface with out falling through up to their crotch.
I think with all the extra snow fall and all the warm temperatures made it super nasty to ride in. Definitely a lot water under it. So with that being said..... I called for Ron to come and save me.

So he takes off, no helmet, thinking that he could just ride safely to me like a grandpa with horse power. Went off a little jump in the trees (showing off or something) and the sled sunk when he landed. Handstand dismount still holding on for dear life with his arm that's in recovery. Over the bars and landed on his hood. He is one lucky duck!!! Stacie saw it and couldn't believe her eyes. She's going to have a camera on him at all times from now on. You just never know... So that was just one of 3 action moves from the cripple that day. I heard something about it being the snows fault. :face-icon-small-dis Yeah, I don't know. I'm just thankful he didn't get hurt. Funny to think we were just going to head out for an easy kid ride and you just never know what may happen. It's better to be safe than sorry and always be prepared. :face-icon-small-win:face-icon-small-win Full gear no matter what!!!

I had one of those over the hood dismounts last weekend. I never knew what hit me! All I know is Slim rated it a 10 so it must have been good! LOL!

Like I said, Its nice to see you two out and about! Ride Safe!
