Gopro HD versus Contour HD

I have 2 Contours and now a GoPro Hero and a GoPro Hero 2. I like the Hero 2, but really need both the Hero 2 and the Contour. I can't bring myself to put a GoPro on top of my helmet and look like a Teletubbie. LOL Both brands have advantages and disadvantages IMHO. I am going to try the chest mount with the Hero 2 this winter and see how I like that view.
The Contour doesn't have as much of a fish eye that has to be corrected with software, but the Hero 2 has better color on the snow.

people have been getting creative to get around the super box on your head look. I notched out visor and had it mounted flush with the outside of the brim.

But once I started using the chest mount I dont think the camera went back on my lid.

Glad to hear that, I was hoping that would be a good view and then looking around would not be so much of an editing job.

Anyone have any thoughts on the Drift? Seems to be the best combo of the Contour and Go Pro.
