i was just wondering if anyone has found a decent goggle lense to use in those low light overcast days when u cant get any depth perception on the snow the best thing ive come up with is wearing cheesey yellow saftey glasses just so i can get some definition on the snow. any thoughts?

I have the Smith sensor lenses they work great. I would rather have a yellow lens for the flat days. What companys offer a large array of colored lenses for there goggles. My old Arnetts worked great and you could get any color lens you wanted for them.

I have the 509 polarized and I wore them for the first time last week. The light was bad/ overcast. I am very impressed so far!

Lense color

Try out any style BLUE colored lense. Ive ridden dirtbike, sled and boar with them for the past 3 yrs and have had nothing but great results from bright to low light

I have 2 sets of polarized goggles from 509 and I've used smith sensor lenses (threw them away). The absolute best lens I've found for overcast is the high intensity yellow from oakley. I think they only make it for the crowbar frame and it's expensive, but nothing else comes close. I wear the polarized goggles more, but when it's overcast nothing beats the oakleys.

Another vote for Oakley high intensity....nothing beats Oakley optics for clarity!!!

Ditto!!! The Oakleys rule hands down. They also make the high intensity for the A frames and the new Splice. I use to swear by the blue lenses also but not even close to the high intensity yellow. The Splice also has a easier on your nose bridge design. I don't think anyone makes more lens color options than O.

Lens

I've had really good luck with the Sinister 509's, with the orange tint on over cast days..........

Yellow is great for overcast, makes it feel ike the sun is out, love em. I used to switch to the rose lenses for really flat light, seemed to work the best for me. If that doesnt work I'll put on my beer goggles.:beer;

Honestly guys try a "rose" or "pinkish" colored lens for that kind of flat light. A buddy of mine brought out a couple pairs the other year it was impossible to get them back from me. I always have 2 pairs of goggles in my bag. Sunny/lowlight. The rose ones are AMAZING!

lenses

I have riden in tons of goggles and lenses and the smith sensor mirror lense is by far the best, great definition and contrast in flat and low light.
