Good Trail Maps of Idaho

I am looking at taking some friends trail riding in Idaho. Where can I find a comprehensive listing of groomed trails and maps in state? I tried the Idaho Snowmobile Association website and all I could find was a MaCall trail map.

Extra helpful if you know of a cabin rental you can ride from with access to a couple of different 40 - 50 mile loops. Even better if there are some play areas along the loops!

Island Park / West yellowstone have a massive trail system.

Give Avery a try, motel, loops. grooomed trails, good play areas and maps telling you where you are.

Just don't come any farther South than that: no snow, big rocks, lots of running water, and big guys with nasty dispositions.

Are you trying to use my trick of deceiving people that Idaho is Cold and Snowy and lots of wide open space with nothing there.

The club web site above for the maps has weather, daily grooming report and links to places to stay and eat, and of course, drink.

And the best (and only one I know of) place to ride out from in our area is the Bear Creek Lodge. You can ride north, south into two different areas with trails over 40 miles each direction. They have gas, permits, food and of course, booze.
