Good or bad Idea

Actually, on these sleds, they have week running boards. Mine are WAY bent up from jumping and I haven’t ridden it in 3-4 years. I used to be pretty small. Now I am like 175 and they are getting bent badly. I am going to have to brace them some how.

After 12 years, only like 2-3 have fallen out.

My friend has an older AC and it has no grip at all. I took a length of slideglide that we use on our ramps, cut it to fit into the boards and riveted her down. Snow doesn't stick to it and tons of grip. I'll post a pic when I get a chance.

Pic's are always good I know this one had almost nothing and it was pretty slick

I should have updated it But i forgot. she tried it with just the added rail and the rivets and said it was fine worked good a little tuff to clear but not woth drilling the holes.
But thanks I greatly apreciate it and no worries. I think were ok for now
