I just got an email from the company I work for offering notice that tomorrow there are supposed to be a bunch of enviro whacko groups "protesting" the energy industry, and some specific companies will more than likley be targeted ...

They gave me explicit instructions not to engage any of the demonstrators in conversation or to have contact with them.

Good thing I'm on my week off and don't have to go into the office or anything ... I don't know if I could hold my tongue if those *******s showed up picketing here ... heh

That would be nice if these idiots who put so much energy into protesting and essentially not accomplishing a god damned thing obstructing progress went to college, got real science degree, and actually put that energy into solving real problems instead of just being obstructionists ...

Uhg. Good thing I'm going sledding tomorrow

Those are lots of fun. A company I used to work for had a huge demonstration in front for "war profiteering". I worked a 12 hour shift and came out at 6 am to see the access road blocked out by a complete freakshow. I was ready to go ballistic when some women came up and said they would let me out without a hassle. I went home and went to bed. Woke up about 4 hours later and turned on the noon news to see the Oakland PD had wreaked holy hell on them. What do these morons expect???

It's absolutley insane how much money production companies have to fork over for various "environmental protection" projects that are completley meangingless ... it's billions and billions of dollars.

I used to reset my watering timer when we had earth day protestors and change the sprinklers so they would over shoot onto the drive way. I'd do this three days before and then they would just go over several times.
