How was Gold creek today? where is every parking and how is the trail heading up? im looking to head up there tomorrow. pics anyone???

Just drove past on my way to over the pass today. Looked really busy....parking where you do all winter and by the time I headed east in the afternoon, I saw sled rigs parked within 1/2 mile of the freeway ramp....Looked like riding on a lot of bare to get to the hill.......Hope some of those there will chime in........
Drive and park where the pavement turns to gravel and starts up hill.....good spots to carve if you can find them....we found plenty...lots of tracked out as well...I was busy today, parked way down the road from the normal turn around..but it was mostly melted to the end....good coverage for this year!!
Im trying to decide between GC and Baker tomorrow. Takin the wife so gold creek is the better option for her. I'm sure they both got massivley tracked today. Shootout and all...
Go to Kachess road and drive to the campground and you'll have very little bare spots.

On any given powder day you'll see like 30 riders mobing runs in a free for all frenzy.
It has gotten so popular that I seen borders with Cali plates and Swedish accents yesterday trying to film some board runs.
It is getting to the point there on certain days most people there are to slash runs. To search and decend.

sounds familiar, I witnessed a similar scene during one of the largest swells to hit the straits earlier this winter... that's the problem with limited resources and easy access!
