Here's my epic fail for the day yesterday. This happened just below the tower. All that fresh powder hid this little gem from me. After it happened all you could see is half the seat and the end of the track. Everything else completely buried in snow. We dug and dug - all the way to the creek bed. The sled skis went all the way down. It is really amazing how resilient these snowmobiles are because my skis and everything were just fine.
I wanted to thank again the dozen our so people that came and helped dig my sled out. I mean, I really, really appreciate it. We really couldn't have gotten the sled out without your help.
That basically topped off a day in which I had to change a belt, went through three pairs of gloves, we dug ourselves out countless times, and helped 6 or 7 other people get unstuck (karma=good). Fresh, extremely deep powder is fun but is also a ton of work.
