Gold creek/kachess

The snow looks like it starts right where you enter the trees (just up from I90) heading up from the GC side at the last cabins there. I saw 3 or so rigs parked as I left the pass around 12pm.

At 5k feet there was 18" or so of new snow over the past two days. Just Friday night saw over 6" I'd say.

Gold creek riding conditions

Coming in from gold creek side is bare pavement all the way to the trees like said befor. If you come in from the kachees side its good snow almost all the way up coue small spots no snow but not bad. The trails in are jumps/woops the whole way in. When you get up prob about 12 inch of new really nice riding so much untouched snow and nice sun cant beat it. It definately worth going up.

Once you get past the endless whoops, the snow was pretty good up top, especially for this time of year. Glad we went! We rode Saturday for half the day. Got in some decent climbs and carved through a few trees. Good times.
