GOING TO THE SNOWIES FOR THE FIRST TIME

3c guiding doesn't have alot of posts because Cameron's company just started this year, look at 10high, he is the co-owner with his brother of that film company. The boy rides sleds better than anyone around this area, if you don't believe that go on a trip and watch the boy sail through the air, you will be impressed, he is also a great all around rider, from jump, carving, sidehilling, tree running, every aspect of riding a sled he has got it covered! I have posted on here many times that 3c guiding is a great new company. Cameron guided for me for High Altitude Excursions for the last 3 years and I decided to give it up because it is a full time job, on top of the full time job I already have.

I will also be going to the snowies for the first time in january, the weekend after new years, i believe the 7th and 8th or so. I'm not very experienced because im only 18 but am getting better. I will be coming down with my brother and dad and maybe some others. Nobody from our group has been there maybe hoping to hook up with someone down there to show us where to go because we migh tmake another trip down there later.

I grew up riding the big horns, been bout everywhere up there. Been riding the snowies since '99. I'm will guarantee you won't find a better group than Cameron. He'll do ya right. Hell when I get home I'll have ta do a ride with 'em. But ya better bring your a-game. Sounds like the snow is *** deep to tall girafe.

Hey Cameron, can't wait to get that turbo out and do some riding.
See ya in a couple weeks.

I live in Laramie, know Cameron and his brother Brandon. Both are very good people, fun to be around and know how to have fun. This guiding business is a new venture for Cameron but like he said, he has been riding for 20+ years and knows the Blowies very well...As far as him not having any posts or wanting somebody to give him props that has 1000+ posts?!...you people crack me up.

If you can get either of the Chimenti brothers to guide you in the Snowy Range, take the opportunity! But like what was stated earlier, bring your A game, and if asked about your riding talent, don't lie....You are about to have some fun!!

thanks every one for the commmints we are all ready to give you a experiance of a life time

New rule...if you can follow the Chimenti boys through the trees your rep power on Snowest will read infiniti...

Oh and I will talk to the moderators so that they will put your post rating at 1000+ too...

Not to be a jerk, but do you have any references? Maybe some of the area locals that have a good Rep. power rating and maybe 1000+ posts here as many of them do could recommend you?

I am interested in a guide, but with the snowest rating you currently have, I would be a little leery to pay too much before you showed me the ride.

Let me know, I will be there this weekend...

Does my post count and rep stick satisfy your recommendation requirement :peep:

I have been riding with Brandon and Cameron off and on for 2 seasons now, and I tell you this.......after riding with them this season you WON'T go wrong!!! Awesome Awesome guys!!!!

WE ARE HEADING TO ALBANY LODGE JAN. 3-7. THIS WILL BE THE FIRST TIME OUR GROUP HAS EVER BEEN TO THE SNOWIES. WE'VE BEEN TO WEST YELLOWSTONE, COOKE, AND THE HORNS. WE MOSTLY LIKE RIDING MEADOWS, BOONDOCKIN, AND SIDE HILLIN' ON SOME AVERAGE STUFF. NOT TO BIG INTO STRAIGHT UP AND DOWN. ANYBODY HAVE SOME ADVISE FOR US? WHERE TO RIDE. WHERE TO STOP ALONG THE WAY FOR GAS AND A BOWL OF SOUP. ETC.
THANKS

typically when you ride the snowies its customary to join the 90's and not type in all caps before you actually ride there ....

I know i should search it first but got any directions as to where exactly the French Creek area is? I know the general area but i have no idea where its located? Libby flats is named on most maps you see but not the French Creek area you hear about all the time...

I'm assuming your talking about Seven Fools area....french creek runs through the bottom of it, you drop off on the north side of trail W. I wouldn't attempt it unless your a technical rider and can get yourself out of sticky situations.

O ya, I see on the trail map that just to the north of that trail it looks like it gets real steep real fast. Ive been on that trail a few times and can vaguely recall looking over that direction and thinking it looks pretty sketchy.

^ Thanks for the info!!
