Going to go look at an 06 RMK 900 on monday...

Update: only has 500 miles

With 500 miles it should be in good shape, meaning there 'should' be relatively few surprises from the machine aside from the 'fixes' that need to be done if they have not been to make it a runner:beer;

I bought it. Shes at home in the driveway. Thanks for the input everyone. Im sure it will be an adventure. Whether good or bad. hahaha

On another note. I still dont know where the guy got 1700 miles from... lolz The sled does only have a bit over 500 though. Odd.

Probably changed out the speedo if he know there's more miles, idk. Good luck with it and enjoy it. Do the fixes and it will treat you right.

Heres the only i have. THis is at my aunt and uncles before i got home. Looks like any other 900. haha
Anyways its got a fire n ice intake.( thats not stock right?) And SLP skis.. everything else is stock.

LOL. It does. Fire n Ice is not stock! That is IMO the best intake u can get for the 900s! Just need some compfusion mounts and an fbf throttle/oiler cable, balance the clutch, get a 3211115 belt and set the clearance for that belt, set the tps and u should be ready to rip! Oh and put all grade 8 bolts in all the engine mounts!:face-icon-small-hap

start savin up for a Indy Specialties crank next summer and that beast will give you smiles for a long time

Get that baby dialed in and when you go ride have someone duck tape your hands to the bars you will need that to hold on tight!

Fire and Ice is bar none the best intake out for these sleds:D:beer;

Add to the list; double check that gearing is at 19:42 and throw on a set of 08 or newer spindles and gripper skis and you will be much happier.

congrats:beer;

Whats the deal with the gripper skis?

Whats the deal with the gripper skis?

They are wider, have a single carbide on each ski, and have little bumps on the top that give you traction when you step on them (hence the 'gripper' name). They will REALLY help with diving and a little bit with steering effort. The spindles will allow you to turn sharper and MUCH easier.:beer;

Already has the SLP PP's on there 94', last I tried those are pretty damn good skis overall. 719 helix, 1115 belt, enjoy it.

Oh right on, I must have missed that.... The powder Pros are great from what I have heard.:face-icon-small-hap

I never said they were the powder pros... THeyre the SLTs... Straight line tracking....
No idea if those are decent or not.

Excellent skis. I like them better than the standard powder pros... if you get a set of Carl's cut powder pros they are better, but if not the SLTs are my favorite skis.
