Usually stay in Jackson but we decided to stay at the Bull Moose in Alpine since we go riding that way everyyear anyway. Looks cool from the website, just wondering if anyone has stayed there and how it was? Also wondering how the snow was this year? Last year was great snow but loose avyies everywhere.

I live in Alpine.
The BullMoose looks decent. I've never stayed or been in a room but I've seen alot of trailers and trucks there so I would bet it's good.
The snow is pretty decent after getting hit from this last storm. Went up N. Murphy last sat. and It was set-up but soft snow. You could probably find some powder in high places.

Last year we stayed at the bullmoose. We got there on Saturday and got the last room they had. Apparently there is a big local ride there that weekend. By Monday evening, all was quiet. You might want to check out room availability for Sat and Sun.
Otherwise, the rooms were nice. Hotel size. We had two double beds for the two of us. With riding gear to dry, four in a room may get a little crowded. But again, the rooms and beds were nice. Good people to work with.
By the way, if you would consider another person to ride with you, I have the week off and would drive out (from Minn) by myself or would be willing to share the drive. If interested, pm me.

Tony, I hear all of entertainment on Saturday night comes from Dubois. Phathead will love it!!!!!

Dancing girls from Dubois might be a little sketchy. You should venture up with us, tell the train to run itself. Anyway think about it. Snow should be white and fluffy.
For what it's worth- having stayed there and and the Flying Saddle- hands down Flying Saddle is the better place. My 02
Stay with Rob at The Rockin M Ranch. Can't beat his cabins, great guy too. Also, its nice to help out a fellow snowester. Every time we venture to Alpine we stay with him and have always had great luck. Have Fun.

It is usually dancing ladies from idaho on saturday nights at the bull moose but from what I hear they took the next 3 or 4 weeks off.
Need more info on the dancing girls please???

I heard that the "dancing girls" are supposed to be there this weekend since there is quite a bit happening in Jackson with the cutter races. Anyway I guess we will see. I heard it has been snowing there this week. Finally got the sled put back together so hopefully it is a good run.
