Going to 3" track

I see that a 156x15x3 will be available this fall. Can someone give me a quick rundown on what all I will need to make this switch. Drivers? Anti stab? Clutching changes? Will I need to send the drive shaft somewhere to get the drivers put on? Different size wheels or stock?
Really looking forward to this track.

Thanks

Oh sorry its a 13' so it will fit with out a D&R. And I read through the other thread but all the info I was looking for wasn't there so I decided to post rather than hijack.

Couple things I'm specifically looking for-
1. Anti Stab kit. Whats the purpose, and do I need it? I have never run anything but a stock track.
2. Are drivers something that I can swap myself or will the shaft need to be sent somewhere like say avid?
3. What do I have for options clutching wise and what going to be dialed the best for that track? Will I be needing to do a full kit? Or would MDS weights with less weight be sufficient?
4. The track is 1" longer, i'm assuming that I can just back up the rear wheels and have enough tension? Or are there benefits from going to a 8 or 9" wheels?

You will need to go to a 7 tooth driver from 8 tooth for clearance at the front of the tunnel. Since your switching drivers you may as well go with extroverts. Yes you can change them yourself if you have access to a press as the old drivers will have to be pressed off and the new on. By going to extroverts you will also need to trim 1-1/2" to 2" off your rail tips. Anti stab is a must going this route so you don't harpoon your rails through one of the windows in the track, it gets ugly if you do.

Anti Stab kit is needed when you run an extrovert driver which has teeth that hook into the open window on the track. This is where your suspension rails are and to get clearance for the extrovert driver, the suspension rail will need to be cut down and then an Antistab kit bolt on where your limiter strap cross bar is. This will keep the trimmed rail tip from hooking a window of the track and ripping it.

If you have a press, you can remove your old drivers and install the new ones. Just measure where the drivers need to be in relation to window on the track. You will need 3.0" pitch 7 tooth drivers(2 of them) for the challenger 3". Here is a link to the drivers: https://www.avid-products.com/store/ProdDet.cfm?ProdID=143

I personally prefer MTX weights, but this is with a stock lug height track. Maybe a lower final angle helix may be required, but realize you are effectively gearing the sled down with the 7 tooth drivers. Stock drivers are 8 tooth 2.86" pitch. This will help with the bigger lug track. IMO I would try and see if you maintain your RPM with the stock helix first.

Yes, you should be able to compensate for the 1" with track adjustment, but if needed a bigger wheel can help with that too. You will need an offset axle if you run a big wheel kit with the stock rail. A big wheel kit supposedly helps with rolling resistance, but honestly IMO it just helps with filling some slack and looks cool lol.
