The likely heads of the EPA and secretary of energy will give the global warming/climate change a little more steam. They both seem to subscribe to the notion that man is causing these climate changes.

we do have one major thing in our advantage.
It costs money to go green.
Even the super greenies are admitting it will be a tough sell to continue the green anti-man made green house gas push. They say green cars arn't selling, green houses aren't being built and a lot of green upgrades at buisnesses have been put off or cancelled.
It will be hard to keep the truth about the global warming scam if the earth continues in the direction is has been going for the last 10 years. They keep telling us this won't continue, well, it is continueing.
The anti-man made global warming crowd are getting real loud. They were vilified for the last 12 years, now is their time to scream and they are starting to get pretty loud.

I agree Ollie..the econ downturn's silver lining may be that these so-called "green" initiatives will not pass. they are using the rhetoric that green jobs will be created, but who is going to pay for those...gov't programs..you and me.

Just the other day the National Geographic channel had a big shpeal about Global Warming and how it's all Mans fault.
They tried to say that millions of years ago the CO2 levels were 10 times what they are now from volcano's and such..yeah ok I'll buy that.
Then they said all the CO2 settled to which is now oil???....aahhh not really sure I buy that. Then they said were putting all that CO2 back into the air by burning it.
I lost a little respect for that channel after that BS show....and of course Alec Baldwin was narrating.
I'm all for saving energy...... if it saves me money.

after waking up to -30 degree weather yesterday, I think that it would be fair to make it legal to remove dpfs from the new diesels and give us our black smoke back, lol.
So how do you explain the ever shrinking polar ice caps?
