Glacier MT

If you've never been over logans pass, make that your priority. as much as us Canadians hate slow tourists on there, take your time and stop at the points of interest. You enter through st mary's on the north side, or west glacier and make your way over the mountain. many glacier is a great little drive, little ways out of glacier, but if your going over logans, your going to be basically right there. other than that, that's what we like to see.

i second that!^ hit up Logan Pass! it is freikin awsome! if anything you will get to get a little snow fix if there is some left! beautiful country...my most favorite place in the world is on top of Logan Pass! oh and if you for some reason you keep goin east....DO NOT STAY IN BROWNING! lol we will leave it at that. oh and if yall wanna do a little camping stay in Apgar on Lake Mc Donald. its a nice place to stay. baisically...the whole place is the shiz!

You're wise beyond your years, cajun. If you want to eat and not spend a small fortune at the lodge in east glacier, serranos in east glacier has really good mexican food (if you like that sort of thing). If you want a steak or a good burger, go west on 2 for about 4-5 miles and hit up the firebrand (I think they open at 4:00pm, tuesday-sunday), good eats and not as expensive as the lodge. Also if you're headed west on 2 there's plenty of places to eat along the way. I haven't been to the summit station in years so I couldn't tell you about it, the snow slip inn & cafe is alright, and further west is the half way house.

if your staying in kalispell, you have to go to moose's tavern....one of the best dive bars in the world. dark, dingy, cement floor's with sawdust, tables and walls carved out by people writing there names. it is family friendly, and they make a really good pizza. it is a really cool and unique place to go and eat. make sure you ask to blow the horn!

HAHA! Isn't the bouncers name is Horn eh? LMAO!

I ate there when I lived there, and I thought the pizza was crap, maybe it got better?
Cool drive through the park, try to stay at St. Mary one night, cool little area.

If ya get tired of Park Food..and you will... try Two Sisters cafe outside of St Mary's on your way North I believe. Waterton is great little town just inside border and Revy isn't really all THAT far!?!

Mooses is awesome, hit the Bulldog Saloon in Whitefish. The Back Room has pretty good bbq in Columbia Falls.(sorry, it's all about the food for me!) Go up to Raceway Park and watch some asphalt circle track racing. Bring a pistol and don't let the park rangers see it, the bears will be out in force!

camping

is there any places to camp w/ a 30' camp trailer where the kids can ride quads? not necessarily talking campgrounds

I was just kidding about taking the kids to the Rainbow Bar... don't haha.

There are many places to camp around here.... I personally love camping back around the Hungry Horse reservior and there is always plenty of room to park at most the campgrounds. Lost Johnny point is a very nice campground on the dam side of the reservior.
