Giving away a HaberVision Eliminator!

I have a heated shield, but I thought this would be a much better solution - remove the moisture before it freezes. Talk to the powers that be. This could be a lucrative idea if you could make something for a helmet. ;) Not everyone wears mx helmets! :beer;:D

how come website won't let me type in affinity code? I push the x & nothing happens??? How easy is it to swap lenses on these goggles?

If you are following my link, the affinity code is already entered. If you go on your own, then you have to type it.
HaberVision Link

I am not sure why it won't let you enter a code on your end. It works if I follow the link, and if I hit the "X" it clears the affinity code and lets me enter "powderhound" with no issues. Maybe it is a setting on your end, computer setting or security setting?

I enter in the code and then hit the "go" button.

I have not tried to swap lenses yet, I guess I should give it a shot, but I don't think it will be too hard. I personally have never had an issue with any brand of goggles, when swapping lenses. Just take your time.

Thanks Lane... I'm in.
Patrick

Cool! Let me know if you want to try a pair of the Eliminators. I should have 3 more demo sets coming in tomorrow.

I think the problem would be that each helmet is different. The Eliminator is able to hook on almost all goggles because they always have vents above, on top. Creating a solution for helmets that fits almost every helmet would be hard because the vents on the helmets are in different locations, but I will bring it up and see what their thoughts are. I don't see it going far, since HaberVision does not produce helmets or even shields for helmets.

Right now I am working on getting the goggles to be MORE Quick strap friendly. They will work, but your have to be creative.

:beer;

Sorry I must have missed your question in the other thread. I apologize.

I have been trying to get my sled back together so I can get out on the snow.

So no, I have not personally used this. I have had two friends take them out skiing. Both loved them. They do not move a lot of air, but they don't need to because of the moisture sensor, it turns on BEFORE there is a problem. (moving a lot of air is bad for anyone that wears contacts, that much air flow will dry your contacts out in a hurry, I think this will work better since they are not always on).

You are in the Vail Valley, right? I have an Eliminator you are more than welcome to demo them and let me know what you think. Shoot me a PM to set this up.

If you are not close enough to me then feel free order them up if you are serious. HaberVision offers a 100% money back guarantee. If you don't like them for whatever reason send them back for a FULL refund.

duke1n - did someone help you get your panties out of the wad?

I'll put my name in...I'm up for free stuff. Nobody has made perfect googles, but good to see that a company is working on it at a descent price.

These will work with ALL HaberVision goggles. They will also work with 90% of the goggles on the market. I honestly cannot tell you which ones they don't work with. If you take a picture of the TOP of the frame (looking down) I can probably tell you if they will work.

What prevented them from working on the 509's? What year of 509's do you have? I have a set from last year I will take a look at.

The area where you mounit it at the top of the goggle is too narrow. I bought my 509s last season so they should be the same ones you have. Let me know if you can get it to work.

I will take a closer look at them tonight. I have litterally been living off of about 4 hours of sleep a night, trying to get my sled ready for all this snow we have received.

I did try a pair of older Oakleys and they had too much curvature. I could have made it work but I didn't want to be bending a $190 pair of Goggles.

BTW... some of the e-mails that went out had the affinity code "powder" attached instead of "powderhound". If you followed the links in that e-mail it probably would have told you invalid affinity code. This has been corrected for all future e-mails. You can follow any of my links with no issues or type in "powderhound" yourself.

Also, the drawing is going to be in January. IF you opt out (unsubscribe) from the e-mails BEFORE the drawing I don't think your name will be entered (it will automatically remove you from the list, just like it does their e-mail list).

I just ordered a pair of the Highline/Eliminator combo goggles yesterday. I am sooooo hoping they work well! My current goggles constantly fog. I was just going to order the eliminator as after watching the 'eliminator installation' video, i believe it would fit my current goggles. But not paying close enough attention when I bought my current goggles, they are only a single lense. Therefore....I decided to get the whole deal. In purchasing the combo, is the eliminator still removable?

Yes the Eliminator is removable, the combo just saves you money!

You already ordered but you are close enough to me that you could have tried a demo set before buying...

Anyone in the Vail Valley, Denver area, Fort Collins, is welcome to try my demos!

trust me...I would have tried a demo pair first but didn't know about you in the area. I had actually read about this on another thread and at this point, was willing to try anything. I will let you know how I like mine:) I figure with the HaberVision guarantee...no sense in not giving them a try.
Later...I must go play in the snow now:)

Please update when you get them. Shipping in Colorado is basically next day, since HaberVision ships from Golden.

Any word if these will fit the 2009 509 goggles? Did you ever have a chance to look at them?

I have not personally tried them on the 2009 509's. I don't have any, I was hoping that some that bought them would have tried them.

Anyone in the Vail Valley area, or Denver (North) have a pair of 2009 509's? I can meet up sometime and give them a whirl.

BTW...

At this point none of my discount codes are working, I will update when I get more.

Eliminator review

MileHigh,
For those that dont know me, I am a professional snowmobile guide who logs many days (120-150) in the backcountry, I have been using the Habervision Eliminator for last week in the Awesome weather up here at Togwotee. I Highly Recommend the HaberVision Eliminator.. The guests that have been riding with me have seen the Eliminator in action and to the man are going to order their own Eliminators when they get home.. I have spent many hours pulling on sleds without removing my goggles, as my guests have watched the fog start to appear on the lens, then they hear the fan kick on and the fog disappears.
This product is a must have on my list of snowmobile products.
Side note: have used this in Smith Snow Warp ( last years) and in the Snow Piston, new this year to me, just like the Sensor mirror rose lens.
Easy to move from goggle to goggle.:face-icon-small-coo:face-icon-small-coo

I used the Eliminator this last week in Togwotee for 3 days and thought is worked O.K. I would still fog when I got hot and my head started sweating and I kept my helmet and goggles on. The fan did seem to delay the fogging and keep the fogging to a minimum. Once the fan started going on auto mode, it would seem to keep running all day and not shut off. Also I can barlely feel the fan moving air when they are out of the goggle. You pretty much have to lick your lips and put the fan right up to them in order to feel the movement of air, in other words the fan is not very powerful. Overall I am pleased with the product, and think it was worth the 60$. I am using them in my scott 89XI turbo. I had to mount the fan a bit on the side of the goggle in order for it to fit. It did not fit my old style 509's. Any questions let me know.
